Needless to saw it brought a tear to my eye and made me realize that I am not that bad of a mom as I think. In all honestly though, I am not sure I can take the credit. Andre just, Truly, is a great Human being. He surprises me everyday with his compassion and love for others. He wears his heart on his sleeve and gives it freely. I love him so much and could not be any prouder. It is moments like these that I will cherish forever. Andre thanks for being a great example to me and to our family. You are awesome.
Here are some back to school pictures.
WOW the 3rd grade!! when did he get so big. Andre is loving school so far. He has two really great teachers.
Do you love the sneakers. I totally had a mom moment when he pointed these out to me. My mom use to tell me. She could pick out the ugliest thing in the store and I would love it. Well mom, I guess we have come full circle. I consider myself a hip Mom. I am in on fashion trends and rock some of them myself, but seriously, 1985 called they want there high tops back. What I have to ask is what's next.......And don't even ask to shave side steps in your hair.

Skate or die! Andre has turned into a skater I think? He tries really hard. Although, I am not that impressed with the language at the skate park. Might be the last time I take him there.
Andre just recently found a love for "long boarding". We were at a park and there were these really nice older kids that were long boarding and Andre was in ahhh. They were so nice to him and let him try one of theirs out. Ever since it was all he could talk about. We shop around and soon realized that they are not cheap. So we told Andre he had to save for one. He sold stuff in a yard sale. Helped Grandpa haul wood at the cabin. Finally, he had enough money. I am so proud of him for saving and purchasing the long board himself. I just realized I don't have any pictures of him with it. I guess I better take some. Maybe next year I actually get them on the blog.

Kendyl's Dance Recital
Here is the "pre-show" Pictures.
After the show
Kendyl with her neigborhood friends.
Kendyl with one of her partners in crime, Hallie.
Kendyl's dance teacher Ruth Jack. She is honestly one of the best people I know. She is so good with this girls and she devotes so much time to this.
This year I was able to take the Dace pictures for everyone again. It was a blast and even though the classes doubled, there for my work load doubled it was a blast taking them. Despite the fact I lost an entire days pictures and had to retake them. AHHH Thanks moms for being very understanding. That has never happened to me before so I guess I should be thankful that it was something that could be redone and not a Wedding or something.

This year we had a great Easter, especially since the Tuesday before we got pounded by a snow storm that laid a foot of snow. We still had snow for Easter, but luckily our parents home town had been warm enough it melted.
This year I planted real grass in the kids Easter baskets. It was way cute and the kids loved watching it grow.
On Saturday, in between conference, we dyed eggs. A few of the neighborhood kids joined in the fun.
I love my neighborhood.
My Dad with his favorite child!
Don't worry dad, I won't tell.
The Easter bunny brought the kids new flip flops, a movie, golf balls and fingernail poish. Can you believe it he didn't bring one thing of candy?!!!! However, Andre had the "talk" with us. "The I know who the bunny really is talk." I am so sad that time has come. Really though, how old are you when you stop believing that a big giant man size bunny hops to your house to leave treats for you. I mean come on it is not like he is a real man like Santa!
Kendyl painting her toes with some kid friendly nail polish she got from the bunny.
On Sunday, after a wonderful time watching conference, we headed to the other grandma's for another egg hunt.
