Christmas 2009

This year was a great! I must say was very relaxing. This is not what I would call normal for or Holiday season. We inevitability run form family to family making sure we spend enough time here and there. This year however, I never felt rushed. We actually got time to sit and enjoy the holiday. We must have found the system that works for us. I guess anything beats last year after waiting on the Highway for an hour while the road was closed.

The holiday party going is usually kicked off with my Dad's side With the Annul Rhodes party. It is a great time to see my cousin Some I only get to see once a year. I am the baby cousin of all 18 cousins. Now with all the great-grand kids it makes for a big group.

Next party is on my mom's side The Udy clan. On this side I am the fourth oldest what a contrast. Again I am lucky if I see some of these guys more than once a year. It is always a riot with this bunch. We are I guess what you call all a bunch of smart A**es. In fact one of my cousins has made a career out of it. Check him out he is a famous YouTube blogger some of you may have heard of him go to YouTube and search Shaycarl you will find him.

Christmas morning began at about 8:30. I know we are lucky. It sure is good to see this look on Andre's face. Yeah Santa got it right this year. Good Job Santa!!!

Andre asked for a guitar which I thought was super Awesome. The week before he was so nervous that he was not going to get the Guitar. Andre also asked for an Art set which I think is ironic, When I was a little girl one year for Christmas all I wanted was a Bob Ross art set. I was so excited to paint Happy little tree's (sorry for the Bob Ross reference, I could not resist). So now I guess I can pass on the love of painting happy little trees on down to my son. As Bob Ross said every Tree needs a friend.

Kendyl didn't really have anything specific, Just everything she laid eye's on. So I was pretty sure she would love the Doll house Santa brought her. Heck, I even had fun playing with it Wes asked if he thought it was for Kendyl or me. It was just to cute with all the little details. Kendyl also got dress ups and her very own girly video game. Oh and I can't forget the bootleg copy of Beauty and the beast. I am sure that Santa was not aware that it was a pirated copy he was putting in her stocking. I guess even the big guy can't rely on the Internet to find those hard to find Items. Oh well as long at least it is in English.

Kendyl was so funny after every present she opened she would say so sweetly "oh, just what I wanted."
