2006 Restored

This is the text from 2006. It will take a really long time to get the pictures...

Christmas 2006We can't believe Christmas has come and gone. We had a nice one it was good to be back home around family and friends.

Not Really a "White Christmas" but Andre and Wes still found just enough snow on Christmas eve to play snowball baseball

Knocking a snow ball out of the park!

Andre waiting on the steps for the rest of us. To go see if Santa came. What a good boy!

We went to Grandma Rhodes for breakfast, well by the time we got there is was more like brunch!

Which one the three would you like to snuggle?
"Thanks Shannon for my snuggly Animals". By the way the one in the middle is the Best to snuggle!

Sporting our Gobility attire, Cutest way to advertise

This past year Andre has developed an obsession with motorcycles. One Day he informed me that when he grows up he is going to drive a black motorcycle and it is going to be named Black Knight. So for Christmas Andre got a Black remote control motorcyle. Mom hopes that this will be the only motorcycle he will ever drive.
The Polar Express

On December 21, Brad and Becky (Wes' Parents) took our whole family on the Heber Valley Railroad (polar Express).

All Bundled up in the PJ's Brad and Becky got us, we boarded the train and headed to the North Pole. On the way we drank Hot Chocolate, sang Carols, and read the Polar Express Book.

As Andre says, "It was totally Wicked".

Andre loved looking out the window in anticipation of seeing Santa. Evan though Kendyl had never met the guy, or evan knew what the heck was going on. I think she was excited too!

When we reached the North Pole Santa paid us a visit and gave all the kids silver bells .Some of us liked seeing him....

and some of us didn't!!! Sorry Macie

Merry Christmas

A couple Weeks ago. Wes and I were laying in bed, I had just feed Kendyl so she was lying there with us too. Hearing Andre stammering down the hall I thought all I want is a few more minutes of sleep, but as I have discovered as soon as you get one back to sleep the other is ready to be awake. Andre crawled into bed with us, as he dose every morning, wedging his way between Kendyl and Wes. Half asleep, I notice Andre looking back and forth at me then Kendyl and then Wes. " What a wonderful Family" He said. Right then I thought what a wonderful family indeed and realized that I am thankful for my peaceful mornings with my kids and my great husband all squished in one bed. I would give up sleep anytime for moments like this.

What a Blessed Day

"It takes a village to raise a child"

December 10th we blessed our little Kendyl. It was a wonderful day to have family and friends together. Kendyl look so beautiful. She is loved by so many.We are so happy that our friend Bettie is back, yea!
Thanks for coming to Kendyls blessing.
"What a hot little mama"

The day wore the girl right out.
HOW MUCH CAN YOU FIT ON ONE PLATE!

As many of you know Wes has been busy starting his own company called Gobility, Which is doing great. (http://www.gobilitymobility.com/) We are really excited to see what the future holds for this company. Along with that Wes has been presented with an opportunity to assist in surgeries, selling and installing pain pumps. He is really excited. Wes's hard work and passion for medical sells is really starting to pay off. We are so proud of him.

ouch!!!!

One of Andre's Favorite Activity's to do is to turn on his music and "Break Dance". He really is pretty good. Except on this particular occasion when one of his break dance moves, broke his lip open. It was really gross. It was deep enough we could see his saliva glands, yuck. We had to take him to an Oral surgeon. The Doc suggested to stich it but I just could not put him through that so lets cross our fingers it will heal on its own. It is looking tons better so far.
Check out his Sweet moves.

Thanksgiving Day

This year we went to Mandy's Parents for Thanksgiving. Grandpa loved having all his boys together and new little girl. I think Kendyl is going to be a grandpa's girl.

Mandy's Dad Wayne is a huge Neil Diamond fan. So he has always wanted to name a granddaughter Shiloh, Sorry dad not this one. No matter how many times you call her Shiloh her name will still be Kendyl.
Andre and all of his cousins on both sides. Cutest Kids ever.....

We have the Best Sisters in the world.

This is where Wes Belongs with the Kids! They are playing
Preteno ( as Andre calls it).
Black Friday!!!!
The day after Thanksgiving we braved the crowds and went to Salt Lake shopping. We met up with our Dear friends the Blaquieres. After a long day we meet the boys back at the very famous Maddox restaurant. Shopping and great dining, what a great day.
Kendyl and Andre's Adoptive 3rd grandparents, Ron and Sonya Blaquiere. We love you guys.

This day was Kendyl first introduction to shopping I have to teach her early. I thought I was nut's taking her all day, but she was a trooper. She slept the whole day. Kendyl really is the best little baby. We are truly blessed.

Snuggle Time !

Our favorite thing to do in our family is to have "Snuggle Time" Andre has to have it before he goes to bed or he won't go. It has to be our favorite time of the day.

Considering that it was nearly impossible for Wes to get me pregnant, she sure looks like him. With out a paternity test there is no way of really knowing....

Kendyl's Photo ShootYou all know Mandy can't resist a baby photo shoot. Days have been spent and my hard drive filled up with new pictures of Kendyl. Here are a couple of our favorites:
Family PicturesWe are all settled in the new house and this is the first time we actually sat down.Kendyl is growing like crazy. It is hard to believe she is already 2 weeks old.(Andre took this picture)Andre loves being a big brother. He is always willing to help his sister anytime.Andre goes to preschool at the All Academy Preschool where they teach him tennis, swimming and tumbling in addition to normal schoolwork. He said that tennis is his favorite and he hates doing "back floats." HALLOWEEN 2006This years halloween was really fun! "Batman" decided to be Wolverine from X-Men.And Kendyl made here first appearance as "Batgirl."Let us know who you think did the best job on their pumpkin. Saturday, October 21, 2006
Hello Everyone! Welcome to the Archibald BlogA lot has change for our family in the last little while. Most importantly, the new addition to our family and our new home.We moved to Providence and bought a townhouse. It is small, but we love it.Front View and View from back porchWe are very excited to introduce our baby daughter, Kendyl. Kendyl was born October 19 2006 at 2:44 pm in the Logan Regional Hospital. Both Mom and the Baby are doing great. Mandy dilated to a 4 and stayed there for about a week, so the doctor decided to start her. After he broke her water it only took 3 hours to get to a ten. Then, 5 contractions later...Kendyl showed up. 6 lbs 13 oz and 20 inches long and the most beautiful cry you have ever heard.A little drugged up from the epideral, but still pretty.I don't know who is prouder, Dad or AndreBig eyes, just like her mom.Dimples, just like AndreAndre will be the best big brother ever!
